H-E-B selling limited edition Selena tote bags
By Bryan Ramos
exas’ favorite grocery store H-E-B just announced it will be selling limited edition tote bags for $2 featuring the “Queen of Cumbia” on them at select locations across Texas and online.
Suzette Quintanilla, Selena’s sister, worked with H-E-B to create the bags which are made out of 100% recyclable material, according to a news release.
“Working with H-E-B to create this bag was a highlight for me,” Quintanilla said. “This bag will help The Selena Foundation give back to our community and gives Selena’s fans something to tote around.”
Here is a photo of the bag from the news release.
H-E-B will donate $25,000 to The Selena Foundation, who will dedicate funds from the donation to the Boys & Girls Club of the Coastal Bend.
“At H-E-B, we’re excited to offer our customers this commemorative Selena bag, which is a tribute to such a beloved personality whose music continues to inspire people everywhere,” Cory Basso, H-E-B Group Vice President of Marketing and Advertising, said in the release.
Those chasing the bag can buy them Friday in person starting at 9 a.m., online starting at noon or through H-E-B curbside delivery. There is a limit of two bags per person.
